THOUGHT 616

MY THOUGHT 616
THERE ARE THREE BASIC AREAS OF LEARNING: STUDENT, TEACHER, SHARER

1. AS A STUDENT, OR FOLLOWER, YOU TEND TO MIMIC THE TEACHER. IF YOUR TEACHER DISAPPEARS, YOU LOOK FOR A NEW MENTOR TO FOLLOW. THUS, CONTINUING YOUR INTELLECTUAL SERVITUDE, INSTEAD OF FREELY LIVING THE LESSONS LEARNED.

2. AS A TEACHER, YOU HAVE TAKEN ON THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR OTHERS. THEIR DEPENDENCY ON YOU MAKES YOU A PRISONER OF YOUR TEACHINGS. YOUR INTELLECTUAL GROWTH BECOMES LIMITED TO THE NEEDS OF YOUR FOLLOWERS.

3. AS A SHARER OF IDEAS YOU ARE FREE TO EXCHANGE, ACCEPT, REJECT, OR MOVE ON. YOU ARE FREE TO PARTICIPATE IN GROUPS AND NOT BE OBLIGATED TO JOIN GROUPS.

I PREFER TO BE A SHARER OF IDEAS THAN A TEACHER OF IDEAS. YOU MUST DEVELOP YOUR OWN WAY. YOU MAY GET IDEAS FROM OTHERS, BUT YOU SHOULD USE THEM TO CREATE YOUR OWN IDEAS. EmilKoval©2010
